Congratulations To Sue Homan On Her Retirement!

susie's retirement 010After 43+ years as a Citizens Bank employee, Sue Homan has retired! She started her CB career in 1971 as a Teller and became the Teller Supervisor in 1983. Sue remained in that position until she retired. Sue is looking forward to spending more time with her growing family, which now includes three grandchildren. She also plans to spend time enjoying her quilting and soap making hobbies. Sue and her husband, Ed, will continue to enjoy trips to their northern Minnesota lake place. We will miss Sue’s outgoing personality around the Bank. We thank her for many years of dedicated service and wish her the best in retirement!

CB Honored With Community Champion Award

Recently, the Minnesota Bankers Association (MBA) recognized our Bank for the level of involvement we have in our community. We were one of 21 banks in the State honored for working with our community by providing funding, volunteers, materials, supplies or food for our neighbors.

“Minnesota banks are the heart and soul of their communities. In addition to providing the capital that helps communities grow and thrive, the record of supporting local programs is simply unmatched.”
– Joe Witt, President of the MBA

Keep an Eye on Your Account – From Anywhere, Anytime

It’s scary, but true. Card fraudsters are becoming more sophisticated by the day. At, Citizens Bank & Trust Co. we work hard to keep them at bay, yet we know you are often the best defense. And with our new mobile app, SHAZAM BOLT$, you’ll be even better equipped to spot fraud as it happens.

SHAZAM BOLT$ gives you all the tools you need to identify suspicious activity on your account – immediately as transactions post. After downloading the app and telling it which purchases you’d like to keep an eye on, you can receive email alerts 24/7 whenever a suspicious debit card purchase is made. You’ll also receive alerts when a purchase hits your account and a card wasn’t swiped (think Internet or over-the-phone orders). SHAZAM BOLT$ can also email you anytime a purchase was made in a foreign country.

You’ll know right away whether the purchases are valid, so you can call us immediately. We’ll put a stop to any fraud, keeping your account and your identity safe.

Alerts can help in other ways, too. Let’s say you want to monitor a teen’s account. SHAZAM BOLT$ will let you know in near real-time, how and where your child is spending money.

As if alerts weren’t enough, the app also allows you to access your debit account information from anywhere at any time. Wondering how much money is in your account? SHAZAM BOLT$ can tell you. Curious to see if that deposit has posted? The app can tell you that, too.

We all know keeping watch over our accounts is a good idea, but life gets busy. And the bad guys count on us to become distracted or to forget to check on our money. With SHAZAM BOLT$, you can keep up with life… and with the fraudsters… from anywhere at any time.
