Congratulations to Jane Powell! She is celebrating her 15 year anniversary with Citizens Insurance Agency.
Having grown up in Hutchinson, Jane is a hometown girl. She has actually worked for Citizens Insurance Agency for over 23 years, but left after the first 8 to pursue a job designing in the home decor industry for 5 years. This put her education in graphic design to good use!
Jane is married to Craig Powell (owns NAPA Auto Parts) and they have 2 sons Jake, married to Brooke, and Tyler. She is also a grandmother to Harper (2) and Hawkins (1 week!), and enjoys every minute spent with them.
For 8 years, she was the McLeod County Chair of the American Cancer Society Daffodil Days and found it to be a very rewarding experience. Jane’s current passion is her new business, Prairie Haven (www.prairiehavendesign.com), which is an occasional sale open for 3 days every 2 months. The need to design and work with color has always been woven into her life, whether through gardening or more recently decorating her grandchildren’s bedrooms.
