Another incredible year of music and fun at RiverSong! Citizens Bank is proud to be a sponsor of RiverSong Music Festival! The Festival is a high quality music and art festival experience in a natural and sustainable community setting. This year marked the 4th year of the event featuring styles such as folk, bluegrass, blues, Americana, and Celtic music. Some of the bands pictured include Reverend Peyton’s Big Damn Band, Chastity Brown, and Solas. RiverSong is a non-profit organization comprised of volunteers including Citizens Bank employee Deb Froemming, a member of the Hospitality Planning Committee. This committee plans accommodations, ticketing, transportation, and festival communications. Several other Citizens Bank employees also volunteered at the event. We invite you to mark your calendars for July 19th & 20th, 2013 for the next RiverSong Music Festival! Bring a lawn chair and come down to the Crow River!

Water Carnival weekend
Water Carnival is certainly a favorite event for many in the community of Hutchinson. The annual event hosted by the Hutchinson Jaycees is a week jam-packed with entertainment, activities, performances, competitions, parades, and good food! Citizens Bank was proud to sponsor Katherine Ulrich as a Queen Candidate. We are also a major sponsor for the event, hosted every June. These pictures wrap-up the fun events from the week including: Coronation, Commodore’s Dinner, and the Queen’s Ball. The individuals include: Tom, Karleen, & Katherine Ulrich, Mike & Amber Cannon, Anthony Hanson, Jessica Wendland, and Renee Hantge.
Night of the Arts Event
Our very own Director, Jeff Haag, carefully glazed his hand-thrown pottery at Clay Coyote in Hutchinson. The pottery was made for a fundraising event for the Hutchinson Center for the Arts. The 2nd Annual Night of the Arts – a French Garden Party was hosted on Friday, June 1st. Jeff’s glazed pottery earned over $800 for the event.
Headed to college?
CB is proud to sponsor Katherine Ulrich for Water Carnival Queen!
Citizens Bank & Trust is the proud sponsor of Katherine Ulrich for Water Carnival Queen! One of her favorite memories of Hutchinson was when she was Junior Queen in 1999, where she traveled to other communities and enjoyed meeting new people. Her future goals include becoming a LPN and hopefully some day owning a hobby farm. We wish her the best of luck and can’t wait to support her in all the activities including the Miss Hutchinson Pageant and Grande Day Parade. If you would like more information on where you can help support Kat during the 70th Annual Hutchinson Jaycee Water Carnival, check out the Hutchinson Water Carnival website .
Good Luck Katherine, and best wishes for a fun-filled Water Carnival!
Hutchinson Sign Project
What an inviting way to greet guests to our community with refurbished signs on the corners of Hutchinson! Recently, the Hutchinson Ambassadors initiated a project to renovate the existing Hutchinson signs. The project included sandblasting, repairing the electrical wiring, replacing lights, and painting the signs to a new, bright blue. Thank you to those organizations who have been involved in the restoration project thus far: Hutchinson Rotary Club, American Legion, Temple Lodge, Odd Fellows, 3M, Burich Foundation, Hutchinson Foundation, Hutchinson Utilities Commission, City of Hutchinson, and Hutchinson Ambassadors. Signs are located on Hwy 7 West, Hwy 7 East, Old Hwy 22 S, and a new one to be placed on Hwy 15 N. There is still some work to do on the signs and your involvement is greatly appreciated!
