We are proud to announce that our Foundations had an active year in 2015, and look forward to being of service to others in the next year. The I.J. Burich Family Foundation awarded 16 grants in 2015 for $44,962,
while the Burich Foundation awarded 9 grants totaling $45,692.90 in 2015 to support our

Citizens Bank & Trust Promotes Three Employees
T. A. “Buzz” Burich, Chairman/CEO of Citizens Bank & Trust Co., announces the following promotions:
Anthony Hanson
Anthony R. Hanson to Executive Vice President of Commercial Banking. Hanson joined the Bank in 2009 and serves as a member of the Bank’s Credit Committee, Executive Committee, IT Committee and Marketing Team.
Hanson is actively involved in the community as a member of the Southwest Initiative Foundation’s Loan Review Committee, a member of the Economic Development Authority Finance Team, a member of the Crow River Golf Club Finance Committee, past chair of the Hutchinson Area Chamber of Commerce & Tourism Board of Directors and is the President of the Hutchinson Utilities Commission.
Anthony has participated in the Blandin Community Advantage Leadership Program and is also a past President of the CarMc Bankers Association, which is a consortium of banking professionals from Carver and McLeod Counties. He is a former member of the Hutchinson Ambassadors and the Hutchinson Jaycees where he served as President as well as the past Commodore for Hutchinson Jaycee Water Carnival. Anthony is also the past Board Secretary of the Dassel Development Corporation and past chair of Hutchinson’s City-School-Community Advisory Committee.
A native of St. James, Minnesota, Hanson graduated from St. James High School in 1996 and St. John’s University in 2000 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Management with an emphasis in Finance. Anthony is a 2006 graduate of the School of Banking at the University of Wisconsin. He and his wife, Kristi, have three children, Samuel, Audrey and Jacob.
Carol Stark
Carol J. Stark to Sr. Vice President of the Real Estate Banking Department. She also serves as a member of the Bank’s Marketing Team.
Stark is currently on the board of the Hutchinson Theatre Company and serves as Treasurer. She is also a participant in the McLeod for Tomorrow Leadership Program. Carol has previously been involved with Jaycee Women, Habitat for Humanity and Hutchinson Health Foundation.
Originally from Maplewood, Minnesota, Stark graduated from North St. Paul High School and attended the University of Minnesota, Morris. She has been employed with Citizens Bank & Trust Co. since 1978.
Carol and her husband, Brian, have two children, Arlen and his fiancé, Asta Petkute, and Jacqueline Mackenthun and her husband, Scott, and granddaughters, Quinn and Cora.
Deb Froemming
Deb K. Froemming to Personal Banking Representative. Deb has been employed with Citizens Bank & Trust Co. for 15 years. Froemming is a 1984 graduate of Dassel Cokato High School. Deb started employment at the Bank as a teller and moved to Consumer Loan Representative/Administrative Assistant.
Deb is currently active in the community as a member of the Random Acts of Kindness Group, RiverSong Hospitality Committee, Board Treasurer of the Hutchinson Center for the Arts and volunteers delivering Meals on Wheels. She graduated from the Hutchinson Leadership Institute in 2015.
Deb and her husband, Dean, live in rural Hutchinson and have two children, a son, Dan, and daughter, Jenny Braathen and her husband, Tyler.

Kentucky Derby Gala

Citizens Bank Receives MBA Community Champion Award
Citizens Bank & Trust Co. was recently recognized by the MBA for their outstanding contributions, support and involvement in the communities they serve. Banks play an important and vital role in their communities, and to honor and recognize their involvement, the MBA created the Community Champion recognition program. Citizens Bank was one of 22 banks in the State honored for working with our community by providing funding, volunteers, materials, supplies or food for our neighbors.
Lois Ingebretson Retires from Citizens Bank
Lois Ingebretson retired from Citizens Bank & Trust in January. She worked at the Bank for 30 years in the bookkeeping department. Lois was great with customers and always had a smile on her face. She will be missed by her co-workers and her customers.
