T. A. “Buzz” Burich, CEO and Chairman of Citizens Bank & Trust Co. announces the election of Matthew J. Field to its Board of Directors.
Matt is President and CEO of Goebel Fixture Company, based in Hutchinson. Now in its fourth generation of family leadership, Goebels builds and installs retail environments for exclusive boutiques and upscale retailers. Prior to joining Goebels in 2008, Matt held finance and auditing positions with Fortune 500 companies such as Best Buy and Nash-Finch.
Matt serves as a board member for the Association of Retail Environments, a non-profit trade group that connects retailers and promotes retail environments. He is also actively involved in the Architectural Woodwork Institute, a woodworking and retail industry trade group.
A native of Hutchinson, Matt graduated from Hutchinson High School in 1996, then attended the University of St. Thomas in St. Paul, MN and graduated in 2000 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration – Finance. Matt and his wife, Amy, have one daughter, Ariana. Matt’s grandfather, Virgil Goebel, served 23 years as a director on the Citizens Bank Board.
