For our final Born Learning Trail employee spotlight, we’re featuring Crystal Robinson.
For Crystal, volunteering is about helping others and having the satisfaction of seeing a project through to completion.
“It helps people in need, and it gives me a sense of accomplishment when the task is completed.”
That made seeing the finished Born Learning Trail especially rewarding for Crystal. Her favorite part of the project was seeing the trail fully completed and open for families to use.
She believes projects like the Born Learning Trail are important because they create safe, fun places where Hutchinson children can learn and play.
The project also gave Crystal and her coworkers an opportunity to work together toward something that benefits the community they all share.
“Working together to accomplish a task that helps the community we all live in” was one of her favorite parts of the experience.
For Crystal, seeing families and children using the finished trail is what giving back is all about.
“Seeing the completed trail being used by families and children makes me feel proud to have helped create it.”
She also believes community involvement is an important part of Citizens Bank & Trust Co.’s relationship with Hutchinson.
“Helping with local projects strengthens the community, builds relationships, and shows that the bank cares about making a positive difference.”
