We recently sponsored the Chad Greenway “Day to REACH” 2-day camp which hosted close to 300 kids in Hutchinson. The HS campus was completely occupied by a sea of purple with the theme of this year’s camp “One HEARTBEAT”!
Chad Harlander, Director of the REACH program at HHS lists the following sessions that were offered to the kids:
• in the HS auditorium sessions on Nutrition and Character
• in the Multi-purpose room sessions on speed and agility
• in the HS weight room sessions on Team building and Strength
• Tennis courts sessions led by the National Guard
• SR Knutson field offensive and defensive football fundamentals
• 2 practice fields- razzle dazzle
Chad further stated, “Thank you to all of those who help to sponsor the event, believing in our mission of providing a positive learning experience for young people to become better athletes but more importantly become the best person they can be!”
On Saturday, June 29th from 9-11am, the McLeod County Fairgrounds will come alive with energetic dance music and laughter. The Relay for Life team “From Penny’s to Dollars” is organizing a Zumbathon to help raise money for the American Cancer Society. For two straight hours, participants will be led by a certified Zumba instructor through a series of fun dance routines under the outdoor Pavilion.
“For our Relay for Life team, this is our first Zumbathon,” says organizer Beth Todd. “We have been raising funds for the American Cancer Society for nine years now, and our team does many fundraisers. Each year we strive to try new and exciting ways to raise money.”
While the Zumbathon is certainly a creative way to raise money, many people are excited for the event. With gift bags for the first 50 ticket holders, water donated by Tri-County Water, and an extended forecast that is exemplary, the Zumbathon has one additional benefit; participants can expect to burn between 800-1,000 calories per hour! Tickets are $10 in advance and $15 the day of the event. You can get more information and find friends who are planning to attend the Zumbathon, by visiting the Zumbathon Event on Facebook.
“With everybody offering the same perks, the biggest difference between one financial institution and another has become the people who work there, making service the only true differentiator.”
In an article written by Shep Hyken, featured in The Deluxe Knowledge Quarterly, we found this quote about financial institutions. Although the playing field seems relatively stable with little product differentiation, we try to stand out on service. As Hyken states, “Delivering better service once isn’t difficult. Delivering it every time is.” That’s why we’re here to help you. We want to be sure that you receive not only a customer-friendly bank experience, but an exceptional one, every time. Whether you are in our lobby, drive through window, online banking, or closing on a mortgage loan, the difference here at Citizens Bank is the people. We don’t just strive for satisfied customers. We strive for a satisfying customer experience, every time.
Thank you for banking with us!
