Last Friday was the 2014 Hutchinson Area Chamber of Commerce & Tourism Banquet “Get in the Game”. The evening started out with handing out awards for the following:
Business Persons of the Year- Gail and Jenny Plaisance
Volunteer of the Year- Ken Jensen
Ag Person of the Year- Nathan Winter
Young Leader of the Year- Chris Wilke
Teacher of the Year- Scott Renning

Citizens Bank also received the “Business Gives” letter of appreciation. Hutchinson Business Gives provides a way to recognize Hutchinson Businesses who have donated 2% or more of their pre-tax earnings to non-profit organizations.
After the awards, the games began where they played everything from eating a donut off of a ribbon first, without letting it drop to tossing a tortilla on a plate that was tied on your head.
