Today, Buzz is busy buzzing around one of the most popular summer spots for children to beg their parents to take them to visit….the Sanctuary!  Young and old alike often bring down bread or crumbs, items to “feed the ducks” for minutes or maybe even hours.  The open-air Sanctuary is host to many different kinds of animals: goose, ducklings, deer, and more.  The maintenance of this centrally-located Environmental Center was so crucial, that the Burich family decided to put their name on it!  On this gorgeous afternoon, Buzz the Bee decided to head down and take a visit!

Where is Buzz now?

Football captains 2013Buzz the Bee has been busy buzzing (say that 10 times fast!) around Hutchinson supporting local sports teams!  Most recently, we donated financially in addition to some supplies to support the 2013 Hutchinson Tiger Football Team!  Can you believe Captains’ practice is starting for Fall Sports already?  The Tigers look to defend their perfect season (13-0) and their STATE CHAMPIONS Title from last season.
GO TIGERS!

Pictured here are Tiger Captains: Jayden Juergensen, Tory Adams, Ryan Lenz, Jake VanderHeiden, and Jake Wendland.

Zumbathon for Relay for Life

Zumbathon

On Saturday, June 29th from 9-11am, the McLeod County Fairgrounds will come alive with energetic dance music and laughter. The Relay for Life team “From Penny’s to Dollars” is organizing a Zumbathon to help raise money for the American Cancer Society. For two straight hours, participants will be led by a certified Zumba instructor through a series of fun dance routines under the outdoor Pavilion.

“For our Relay for Life team, this is our first Zumbathon,” says organizer Beth Todd. “We have been raising funds for the American Cancer Society for nine years now, and our team does many fundraisers. Each year we strive to try new and exciting ways to raise money.”

While the Zumbathon is certainly a creative way to raise money, many people are excited for the event. With gift bags for the first 50 ticket holders, water donated by Tri-County Water, and an extended forecast that is exemplary, the Zumbathon has one additional benefit; participants can expect to burn between 800-1,000 calories per hour! Tickets are $10 in advance and $15 the day of the event. You can get more information and find friends who are planning to attend the Zumbathon, by visiting the Zumbathon Event on Facebook.

Not just satisfied customers.

“With everybody offering the same perks, the biggest difference between one financial institution and another has become the people who work there, making service the only true differentiator.”

In an article written by Shep Hyken, featured in The Deluxe Knowledge Quarterly, we found this quote about financial institutions.  Although the playing field seems relatively stable with little product differentiation, we try to stand out on service.  As Hyken states, “Delivering better service once isn’t difficult.  Delivering it every time is.”  That’s why we’re here to help you.  We want to be sure that you receive not only a customer-friendly bank experience, but an exceptional one, every time.  Whether you are in our lobby, drive through window, online banking, or closing on a mortgage loan, the difference here at Citizens Bank is the people.  We don’t just strive for satisfied customers.  We strive for a satisfying customer experience, every time.

Thank you for banking with us!
