Hutchinson Family Dentistry

Chamber members, please join us Thursday, October 11th from 5 – 7 p.m. at Hutchinson Family Dentistry as they host Chamber Business After Hours!  The new business was just established in 2012, and includes a team of dentists: Dr. David Mach, Dr. Steven Flinn, and Dr. Chuck Neufeld. They have renovated the former Hutchinson Leader building at 36 Washington Avenue into a modern-day dental office, with lots of historic appeal.  This building area, built in 1883 as a stable, has served as an auto repair facility, a steam laundry, Sears, and now a state-of-the-art dental office.  Come and see the features of the new building, as well as meet the staff, and enjoy some fellowship!

IMAGINE Hutchinson

The City of Hutchinson and the Hutchinson Economic Development Authority (EDA) have begun a process to establish a strategic vision for the future of Downtown Hutchinson and the Crow River District to the north by developing a “Downtown Vision & Action Plan” for these areas. The intent of this effort is twofold. First, to establish a unified community vision for the future of this area through numerous public outreach and engagement steps by gathering input from community residents. Second, is to create a clear, concise and unified implementation strategy to achieve this vision.

Please take a moment to visit the site and take a survey in order to improve the community in which we live and/or work.

Arts & Crafts Fair / Taste of Hutch

It was a beautiful weekend for the 38th Annual Arts & Crafts Festival/Taste of Hutchinson!  The park was full of life with all of the vendors and shoppers Friday and Saturday. The Taste of Hutchinson was a success with their selection of food which included mini donuts, cheese curds, kettle corn and even pork chop on a stick! CB&T employees Anthony Hanson, Donna Orwoll, Jessi Wendland and Nancy Witte were part of the volunteers that worked at the event. Linnea Klassen helped with the Hutchinson Rotary cheese curd stand.

Judges’ Choice Award!

Congratulations to our very own Sue Homan!
She earned the Judges’ Choice Award at the
2012 McLeod County Fair!  Suzie hand-stitched
every part of this beautifully-detailed quilt.  She
has made another hand-stitched quilt and plans
to some day pass one on to each of her 2 kids.
Congratulations Sue on your creation!  You have
a beautiful talent and attention to detail!
