Each Summer, we look forward to sunshine, outdoor lunches, warm weather, and our Summer teller to return from college, or a fresh start with a new one! While we usually keep them around for 2-3 years at a time, this year we were blessed with a new Teller, Aimee!
Aimee is a Hutchinson native, graduate of the HHS Class of 2013. Aimee will be heading off to St. Mary’s University in Winona next week as she embarks on the adventure of a college Freshman. She is considering the math and science programs but has not declared a major of study yet. Her choice to work at Citizens Bank this summer was backed with the desire to find a full-time summer job that would challenge her and keep her mind sharp.
When asked what she learned that surprised her the most this summer, she said gaining more of an understanding of banking as a whole, beyond just her debit card, was very beneficial. As she continues with us, she is interested in learning more about the lending departments as well.
Aimee enjoys the outdoors of MN, including: the lake, family time, playing tennis, or even attending a movie.
If you get a chance, stop in the lobby of our Downtown location and introduce yourself to Aimee! Thank you Aimee for sharing your Summer with CB!
Today, Buzz is busy buzzing around one of the most popular summer spots for children to beg their parents to take them to visit….the Sanctuary! Young and old alike often bring down bread or crumbs, items to “feed the ducks” for minutes or maybe even hours. The open-air Sanctuary is host to many different kinds of animals: goose, ducklings, deer, and more. The maintenance of this centrally-located Environmental Center was so crucial, that the Burich family decided to put their name on it! On this gorgeous afternoon, Buzz the Bee decided to head down and take a visit!
Buzz the Bee has been busy buzzing (say that 10 times fast!) around Hutchinson supporting local sports teams! Most recently, we donated financially in addition to some supplies to support the 2013 Hutchinson Tiger Football Team! Can you believe Captains’ practice is starting for Fall Sports already? The Tigers look to defend their perfect season (13-0) and their STATE CHAMPIONS Title from last season.
Pictured here are Tiger Captains: Jayden Juergensen, Tory Adams, Ryan Lenz, Jake VanderHeiden, and Jake Wendland.
Buzz was buzzing around Culver’s for the month of July using up his $10 gift card for signing up for E-statements! Have you used up your gift card yet? Time is running out on the Culver’s coupons at Citizens Bank. Still need to come in and open that FREE E-checking account? I’m sure there will be another local business being supported soon!
The Second Annual Minnesota Pottery Festival was hosted this past weekend by Clay Coyote of Hutchinson and our President, Tim Ulrich, was on board to help as one of the board members. Over 20 Potters were in attedance including featured potter Mary Jo Schmith. To learn more about their festival, visit MN Pottery Festival.
